The Peraton Knowledge Exchange (PKX) helped proposal, capture, and program teams find reusable company assets spread across multiple SharePoint sites. The app gave employees a single place to search, browse, and filter content without needing to know which repository owned it.

Challenges
Important proposal, capture, and program assets were stored across multiple SharePoint sites. Employees had to know which repository to check, or repeat the same search in multiple places, before they could find the content they needed.
Process & Solution
The work started with stakeholder conversations to understand how employees searched for reusable assets and where the existing SharePoint structure broke down. I researched SharePoint service endpoints and query limitations, collaborated on the site information architecture, and validated the experience through usability testing.
The final app provided one interface for searching and filtering content across repositories, reducing the need for employees to visit each SharePoint site individually. It also made shared assets more visible across groups and encouraged teams to contribute reusable material.
